To be allowed to work independently in the Fab Lab you need a safety instruction. It will introduce you to the rules and is the prerequisite for working in the lab. If you haven’t received one yet, or your last instruction was a year ago, you need a (new) instruction. In other words, if you have been here for the appointment at the end of 2021, now is the time!
The safety instruction is offered every Wednesday at 4 p.m. and is free to all participants. Registration is not required. Just show up on time for the appointment. Staff members will be in the lab at that time and together with the attendees they will set up an agenda for the instruction.
Afterwards you can work independently on the machines during the Open Lab hours.
In general, anyone over the age of 14 can participate in a safety instruction session. If you are under 14 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must also participate in the instruction!
